Ordering
Do I need an account?
Nope. Enter your ZIP, build your tree and check out as a guest. We use your email and phone to keep you posted.
How do you set prices?
By ZIP code. Your price reflects the real cost of getting a fresh tree to you: distance from the farms that grow your tree type, local crew and yard costs, and how hard your area is to deliver in. What you see in the order form is what you pay.
How do I pay?
By card at the end of your order, on a secure Stripe checkout page. We never see or store your full card number.
Are there hidden fees?
No. Doorstep delivery is included in every tree price. Extras like full setup or a walk-up carry are listed with their price before you pick them.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes, $269, which includes your tree and delivery.
When should I order?
As early as you can, especially for trees over 8 ft, unusual shapes and peak weeks. Sizes and species sell out as the season goes on.
Can I send a tree as a gift?
Yes. Enter the recipient's address, add a gift note at review, and we'll coordinate delivery with the phone number you give us.
What if I'm outside your delivery area?
You can still order. We place a hold on your card instead of charging it, and a real person checks your address. We'll confirm within 24 hours, and you're only charged if we can deliver. Prices in these areas are at our highest rate.
Do you do offices, lobbies or restaurants?
Yes. For multiple trees, trees over 12 ft or commercial spaces, message us through the contact page and a real person will put together a quote.
Picking your tree
What height should I get?
Measure your ceiling and subtract about 1 foot for the stand and topper. So an 8 ft ceiling suits a 7 ft tree, and a 9 ft ceiling suits an 8 ft tree.
How wide will my tree be?
A Classic is about 60% as wide as it is tall, so a 7 ft tree is around 4 ft across at the base. Slim and Pencil shapes are much narrower. Your order form shows the proportion for each shape.
Which tree type lasts longest?
Fraser, Nordmann, Noble and Concolor firs all have excellent needle retention. Nordmann is the longest-lasting and has almost no scent, which suits sensitive noses.
Which smells the most like Christmas?
Balsam fir, with Douglas fir and Fraser fir close behind.
Will every tree look exactly like the picture?
Real trees are one-of-a-kind, which is the charm. We match the height, species and shape you pick. Height is measured to within about 6 inches.
Are your trees real?
All real, all cut trees. No artificial trees.
Delivery and setup
What's the difference between doorstep and full setup?
Doorstep means we bring the netted tree to your door. Full setup means we bring it inside, trim the trunk if needed, mount it in the stand, place it, straighten it, remove the netting, water it and sweep up.
How does delivery timing work?
Pick a delivery window and we choose the day. We'll confirm it with you, text a 3-hour arrival window the day before and call about 30 minutes ahead. Need a specific day? You can choose an exact date for $55.
Why does an exact day cost extra?
A flexible window lets us group nearby orders on one route, and we pass that saving on to you. Choosing an exact day adds $55.
What's the earliest delivery?
Flexible windows start Nov 16, and exact-day delivery starts Nov 17. A well-watered cut tree typically lasts 4 to 6 weeks, so a tree delivered from Thanksgiving week on should stay fresh through Christmas.
What's the pre-order promo?
Order by November 8, 2026 and choose a December delivery date to get $30 off. It's on top of the $30 later-delivery savings, as long as your order stays above our $269 minimum.
Is there a discount for later delivery?
Yes. Choose delivery from Nov 29 on and save $30, as long as your order stays above our $269 minimum.
Do I need to be home?
For full setup, yes, or have someone there for you. For doorstep, you can leave instructions and we'll leave it somewhere safe.
I live in a walk-up. Is that OK?
Absolutely. With full setup, carrying a tree up a stairs-only building adds a flat $65. First floors and elevator buildings are free.
My building needs a certificate of insurance.
A certificate of insurance (COI) is paperwork some apartment, condo and office buildings require from vendors before they can use elevators or loading docks. We provide it free. Check the box on the delivery details page and send us your building's sample at least 48 hours before delivery. Your building manager can tell you if you need one.
Will it fit in my elevator or stairwell?
Trees are netted to a fraction of their width, so most fit. If you're going 9 ft or more in a tight building, send us a message and we'll help you check first.
Do you deliver in bad weather?
We deliver rain or shine and only reschedule when it isn't safe. If so, we'll contact you right away to find a new time.
Should I tip the crew?
Never required, always appreciated.
Decorating and extras
What ornament kits do you offer?
Three vibes: Grandma's Attic, Disco Santa and Cabin Core. Each kit is sized for your tree height. Take the kit and decorate yourself, or have our crew do it.
Can you decorate with my own ornaments?
Yes. Pick "Decorate with my ornaments" and have them out and unpacked when we arrive.
Are the decoy gifts really empty?
Yes. Real boxes wrapped by hand with bows, and nothing inside. Pure decor, reusable year after year.
Is the train set real?
Yes. It's a working set with metal track and it's yours to keep. With full setup, we'll lay it out around your tree.
Do I keep what I buy?
Everything you buy is yours. That includes stands, lights, ornaments, skirts and the train. Fresh wreaths and garland last about 3 to 4 weeks.
Tree care and safety
How often do I water it?
Check daily and keep the water above the cut. A fresh tree can drink a quart or more a day in its first week. If the stand runs dry, sap can seal the cut and the tree stops drinking.
Is a real tree a fire risk?
A well-watered tree is far less likely to ignite. Keep it at least 3 feet from heat sources, use LED lights, turn lights off at night or when you leave, and remove it once it dries out.
Are real trees safe around pets?
Keep pets from drinking the tree water and chewing needles. Our Pet & Toddler Anchor keeps the tree upright if someone gets curious. Poinsettias and mistletoe should be kept out of reach too.
What about allergies?
Nordmann fir has very little scent, so it's a good choice for sensitive noses. A small number of people react to tree sap or mold, so talk to your doctor if you're concerned.
Removal
What does The Clean Sweep include?
We take down the tree and stand, haul it away, vacuum up the needles and put furniture back where it was. Lights and ornaments can be packed up too, for an extra fee.
When can I book it?
Choose a date range from December 26 to January 15 when you order, or book later on our removal page.
What happens to the tree?
We aim to send trees to local recycling or mulching programs wherever available.
Can you remove a tree I bought somewhere else?
Yes. Use the removal page to book, whichever tree it is.
Changes and guarantee
What if I don't love my tree?
Tell us within 48 hours of delivery and send a photo. Give branches about 24 hours to settle first, since they drop as the tree warms up. We'll swap it or make it right.
Can I change or cancel?
Free up to 48 hours before your delivery window starts or your exact day, with a full refund. After that, contact us and we'll do our best. Once a tree is cut and on the truck, we may not be able to refund it in full.
What if you're late or miss me?
If we miss our window, we'll make it right. If you miss us, we'll reschedule. A redelivery may have a small fee if we've already made the trip.
